I’ve spent countless hours here in my home on the phone, texting, emailing, Skyping and Facetiming; addressing everything from conceiving to contractions to convincing the baby to sleep (please, dear God).
Year after year, I’ve sat with expectant parents in my playroom, guiding them through birth class and helping them get clear on what they need and want for themselves around their births.
Women found their way to my playroom (sometimes still in pajamas) with their new babies for mother’s group – drinking coffee and tea and eating my (now famous) banana muffins. They’d talk, laugh, cry and get the support and camaraderie so deeply needed in those first weeks and months of newborn motherhood. They formed friendships that continue to this day.
I can help you apply your expertise about you to the process of having your baby so you end up feeling good about yourself, your experience and your partner.
The Good Birth Project is my home…online. I want you to have a place you can go to, just as in my veritable home, where someone’s really listening to you; where you get to the only voice that really matters…yours.
My primary focus isn’t on all the information that’s “out there” or what’s “best”. My focus is on you; what you already know about yourself so you can get clear about what’s best for you.
But I can help you apply your expertise about you to the process of having your baby so you end up feeling good about yourself, your experience and your partner, even when things don’t go the way you imagined.
I want for you what you want for yourself. Let’s find out what that is!
